Launching a printer into the next 65 years.
This family-owned commercial web printer was ready—but a bit apprehensive—to launch a new website. Their former website didn’t work on mobile devices, and was hard to edit. They needed to define their one-pass web printing services and announce new products to break out from the competition.
Their new website is more than an online brand—it’s a tool. Clients can quickly ‘Request a Quote’, and the ‘Upload a File’ feature increased Amidon’s file upload size from 64MB to 500MB, streamlining the process for clients, sales and customer service.
The site features their retro logo and bright color palette, seven product sections, two e-commerce sections and a blog to drive traffic.
With direction by Operations Manager Troy Mone and Sales dynamo Mary Mettler, the site received positive client feedback—and launched Amidon into the next 65 years.
Creative and technology services included:
- Wireframe and sitemap to define and organize content
- Website design
- WordPress content management / website populating
- Project management
- Product photography
- Image creation with retouching
- Coordination with developer and client through site launch
FEATURE Responsive website design for customers in a hurry
Amidon’s website resizes its elements, adapting to desktop or mobile devices for a great experience. It’s easy to read and navigate, and shows up higher than competitors’ “desk-top only” websites in Google searches.
FEATURE New products, defined
Amidon’s commitment to growth shows in their diverse product list. Their commitment to their clients shows in their investment in making those products easy to find and utilize through a more functional website.
FEATURE Inspire customers
At Amidon, the sky’s the limit. To help customers determine priorities, we showcase three samples for inspiration. Showing the company’s range and capabilities is a great tool for the sales team, too.
FEATURE Simple file upload
When customers have a rush printing job, they need to upload in a flash. Amidon’s file upload page means clients can upload files up to 500MB — almost eight times their old bandwidth.
